Thank you to everyone who has reached out to my office about the debt ceiling debate. It’s good to see so many engaged in this critical debate. In fact, so many of you have either called or emailed me that the phone lines in all of my offices are often clogged and my website has crashed a few times. Rest assured, I want to hear from you, so thank you for your patience while we work out the technical glitches and don’t give up. I am heavily engaged in this process and am working hard on a bipartisan solution that makes meaningful cuts before the deadline.
