WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $45,000 grant to the Lindsborg Chamber of Commerce for business development.
The funds will be used to start a revolving loan fund to help small and emerging businesses get started. The Lindsborg Chamber of Commerce have a couple of businesses interested in using the fund that could create 2-3 jobs initially.
The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
