WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $10,875 grant for the City of Prescott in Linn County for a new storm siren.
The funds will be used to purchase and install a new storm siren for the City of Prescott, KS. The siren will serve a population of 280.
The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office under the Community Facility Grant Program. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
