WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) announced a $47,500 grant to the Syracuse-Hamilton County Municipal Airport.

The funds will be used to conduct an environmental study to assess the impacts associated with land acquisition and extension of Runway 18-36.

The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
