WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced two transportation grants totaling $1.33 million for I-235 improvements in Wichita.

• $380,000 for I-235/US-54 and I-235/Central Avenue Interchange

• $950,000 for redesign and reconstruction of I-235 and Kellogg Interchange

The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
