WASHINGTON, DC – Margaret Hupp, daughter of Alfred and Theresa Hupp of Kansas City, MO recently completed a semester-long internship in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Pat Roberts.

Hupp is a junior at Georgetown University earning a double major in Government and History. She is in the Government Honors Program and is a member of the Varsity Lightweight Crew team. Hupp graduated from St. Teresa’s Academy in May 2003.

Hupp’s responsibilities in Senator Roberts’ office included researching legislation, attending committee hearings and briefings, assisting with constituent mail and concerns, conducting tours of the U.S. Capitol Building, flag requests, and providing support to the administrative staff.

This summer Hupp will remain in Washington, D.C. to complete another internship, before finishing her senior year at Georgetown.
