WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $215,100 grant for Newton-City-County Airport for taxiway construction.

The grant will be used to construct a T-Hangar taxilane to improve accessibility to the hangar on the west side.

The funds were awarded to the City of Newton/County of Harvey by the United States Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration.
