WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) announced that USDA has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation for small business development.

The funds will be used to provide a revolving loan fund to assist small and emerging businesses in Lincoln County. The focus of the project is to provide a source of financing to help small business entrepreneurs succeed.

The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office under the Rural Business Enterprise Grant Program. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture.
