WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $26,200 grant to the city of Junction City for law enforcement equipment.
The funds will be used to provide software training and purchase weather presentation and communication equipment and computer software. The grant will be used to purchase and install an audiovisual switcher, two projectors, and two presentation screens. In addition, the Geary County Sheriff’s Office will purchase new computer equipment.
The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance and made available by the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
