WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts today announced that a $1.9 million grant was awarded to Dodge City Community College (DCCC) to increase productivity and job creation for the Kansas medical industry.
This initiative will strengthen the knowledge base and skill level of employees in the essential health care arena, while targeting the need for bilingual medical employees. The DCCC proposal would implement specific programs aimed at improving the access and success rates of students entering the health care field. The three-year grant will assist DCCC and its partners to train and retain necessary health care workers.
