WASHINGTON, DC – Today U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) announced a $23,300 grant to the city of Salina for public safety cameras and software.
The funds will be used to purchase four digital mobile cameras and software to obtain evidence on criminal cases and allow personnel to easily and accurately diagram and measure accident and crime scenes. The acquisition of this new equipment and software will provide the best public safety service.
The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance and made available by the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
