WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $216,450 grant to Hays Regional Airport.

The funds will be used for marketing Essential Air Service (EAS) at Hays Regional Airport. The airport will use the grant to create a strategic marketing plan and implement a promotional advertising campaign to increase usage.

The grant was awarded by the United States Department of Transportation under the Small Community Air Service Development Program.
