WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $15,000 grant for a storm siren in Westphalia.
The grant will be used to purchase and install a new storm siren for the city of Westphalia. This project will serve a population of 165.
The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office’s Community Facility Grant Program. For more information on USDA’s Rural Development Office, visit: http://www.rurdev.usda.gov . Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
