WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) announced a $19,900 loan to the City of Luray in Russell County for its fire station.

The funds will be used to construct an addition to the fire station in Luray. This project serves a population of 203.

The loan was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office under the Community Facility Direct Loan Program. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
