WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts today announced $205,000 in funds, an $85,000 grant and a $120,000 loan, to the city of Moline to construct a new building for a fire station and city hall.

The funds will be used to construct a new 8,000 square foot building which will act as the Moline city hall as well as house the city’s fire department. The project will serve the city’s 457 residents. An additional $30,000 is being contributed by the city.

The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office.

Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
