WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts today announced a $343,000 grant to the University of Kansas Center for Research for International Business Education.
The grant funds the operation of a regional center for international business education. The center teaches the global context of business today, includes instruction in foreign languages, and area fields critical to understanding U.S. trade partners. The center provides research and training in international trade, commerce, and other fields.
The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Education’s Centers for International Business Education Program. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
