WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today said that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a $192,000 loan for economic development in Sterling.

The loan was awarded to the Ark Valley Electric Cooperative Association in Hutchinson to complete the remodeling of the existing building located at 115 S. Broadway in Sterling to provide needed office space for the expansion of Gilmore Solutions. The front half of the property may be leased out to another office or retail tenant.

The loan was awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Office under the Rural Economic Development Loan Program.
