WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) said the United States Department of Transportation announced a $150,000 grant for Garnett Municipal Airport.

The grant was awarded to the City of Garnett to rehabilitate Runway 01/19 with a seal coat to extend its useful life. The funds were awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
