WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $163,300 grant to the University of Kansas Center for special education research.
The grant was awarded to the University of Kansas Center for Research, Inc. – Juniper Gardens Children’s Project (JGCP) Life Span Institute for special education research. This grant will provide field experiences in special education research for Postdoctoral Fellows at JGCP. For more information on the JGCP, visit: http://www.jgcp.ku.edu/ .
The funds were made available by the United States Department of Education’s Special Education Research Training Program. Senator Roberts is a senior member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.
