WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) today announced a $229,400 grant to Hill City Municipal airport for taxiway construction.

The grant was awarded to the City of Hill City to be used to construct a partial parallel taxiway which will increase the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations by reducing exposure time on the runway during taxiback.

The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
